About Martin

Martin has lived and worked on Sandringham Estate for over 40 years.  First as a gardener, then Gardens Foreman, before proudly being promoted to Head Gardener on The Royal Estate in 1997.

 

The diverse knowledge of horticulture and the skills he has learnt give him a unique and expert position to guide and help others in their own journeys in gardening. His experience includes a whole host of associated tasks within a large private estate and management of:

• nearly one hundred acres of garden and parkland

• a seventeen-acre Walled Garden

• large glasshouse complex

• three royal residences
